Appealing a Plaintiff's Judgment
Like Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over till the fat lady
sings". Just because you lost doesn't mean that you
have to accept the verdict. During a trial, judges and
lawyers make hundreds of tiny decisions. Some of these may
be very important. Some might be so important that, if
made incorrectly, they merit a new trial.
In many such circumstances, you can appeal to a higher
court. On many occasions, an appeal has been the
difference between accepting an adverse decision and finally
obtaining justice.
